- chief operator, Pennsylvania Power and Light Co., 35 years; started in 1911 with the Lehigh Navigation Electric Co. prior to the construction of the electrical production unit at Hauto; worked at Hauto, Hazleton, Williamsport (chief of the local system operations); came to Allentown in 1931 where he was in put in charge of operations for the local area
- served as an interpreter for the U.S. Army in Cube during the Spanish-American war
- member of the First Presbyterian church
- member of Lansford lodge, F. & A. M.
- survivors: wife, mother
- services 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, J.S. Burkholder funeral home
- interment: Elmwood cemetery, Charlotte, N.C.
