Obituary of Faye (Crawford) Scroggins:
Faye Scroggins, 96, of Palmyra died early Wednesday morning, August 23, 2006 at Pleasant Hill Village Nursing Home in Girard. She was born September 21, 1909 in Palmyra the daughter of Grant and Maude Hays Crawford.
She married Earl Scroggins in February of 1928 and he preceded her in death on April 1, 1980.
She is survived by two sons, Kent (wife, Sherri) Scroggins of Palatka, FL and Ralph (wife, Donna) Scroggins of Jacksonville; 4 grandchildren, Troy Scroggins and Terry Scroggins both of Palatka, FL, Brett Scroggins of Antioch and Brenda (husband, Barry) Hughes of Muscatine, IA and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters.
Mrs. Scroggins was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the family farm. She was a longtime member of the Pleasant Dale Baptist Church. She enjoyed living on Otter Lake and playing the piano.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2006 at Stults-Neece Funeral Home in Palmyra with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery in Palmyra. The family will meet friends from 5-7 on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Pleasant Dale Baptist Church.
