She married Herbert Lamb in 1935, and after they divorced, married Robert E. Barr in 1942 (with Herb as one of the witnesses).
Was a resident of Lucille, ID since 1976. Ethel loved to crochet and made many pairs of mittens and slippers for her loved ones, as well as hats afghans, and beautiful wall hangings.
After Ethel died, she was cremated and Robert kept her remains in an urn. When he died, his wish was to have her urn tucked under his right arm and buried with him. His wish was granted, and both are buried together in John Day Cemetery.
She was survived by four brothers; three sisters; her husband, Robert; a son; four daughters; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
