G. Anderson, 86, Taken by death
Gustaf A. Anderson, 86, Gladstone, died early this morning at the the Sloan Nursing Home following a long illness.She was born Jan 19, 1884 in Sweden. He came to the United States in 1900 residing first in Chicago and then in Owen, Wisconsin where he operated a dairy farm.
He lived in Gladstone for the past 13 years. His wife preceded him in death in 1953.
Surviving is one son, Sigward of Owen, Wis., one daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Evelyn) Holmberg of Gladstone, 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Burial will be in the Fernwood Cemetery.

Gust Anderson, Who had spent the summer here with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Holmberg, had left for Olympia, Washington, where he will make his home with a son, Carl Anderson.
