Born Elizabeth Leithhead on Nov. 2, 1935 In Duluth, to Leslie Sellwood Leithhead and Virginia Oestreich Leithhead.
Elizabeth was a graduate from East High School, Duluth and Duluth Business College.
Afterwards, life took her to reside in California, Texas and Minnesota. She was a world traveler and traveled extensively throughout Mexico, parts of Canada, Austria, Slovakia, Spain, Morocco, Jordan, Egypt and Greece.
Elizabeth loved language. Fluid in Spanish, she also spoke Greek, Russian and small amount of Slovakian and Arabic.
With her passion for travel came her love of art. She preferred to worked in oils and watercolors, was a member of different Art guilds around the country and sold many paintings.
Elizabeth was very companionate, involved in children causes and animal shelters from around the States.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved dog Elvis. Elizabeth is survived by daughters, three grandchildren, many relatives throughout the Minnesota area and her Greek family from her church.
She was laid to rest Feb. 5th in Laredo, Texas.
