A homemaker and former staff member for Gallaudet University. Jean grew up and was educated in Washington DC. where she worked as Assistant to the Director of Linguistics at Gallaudet University. She met and married her husband Jack in Washington, DC. The couple lived in Washington DC until the military relocated them to Germany. After Germany, Jean and Jack settled in Montgomery, Alabama. Jean took pride in her neighborhood, enjoyed gardening and caring for her cat, Jackie. Family survivors include her husband, Retired Air Force Colonel Jack C. Dixon, Montgomery, AL; two brothers, Maurice Juliano, Hussman, TX and Victor Juliano, Prince Frederick, MD. Especially remembered are Cynthia Holt, her neighbor and dear friend who devoted her all to caring for Jean in her final months, and Jackie Mann, who was also a dear friend and comfort. In lieu of flowers, Jean asked that contributions be made to Hospice of Montgomery, to which the family is very grateful.
