Born on March 7, 1947, in Tazewell, TN, he was the son of the late Joseph and Ada Maude Russell Alston. Mr. Alston was a U.S. Army veteran, who served during the Vietnam War, and was of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Linda Gay Miller Alston of Greenville; two sons, Kenneth Lee Alston, Jr. and Terry Allen Alston, both of Greenville; step-mother, Wanda Alston of Morristown, TN; one brother, Donald Alston and his wife Pam of Morristown, TN; three brothers-in-law, Lynn Mabe and Carroll Galloway both of Morristown, TN, and Charles Miller and his wife Beverly of Erwin, TN; a special nephew, Barry Mark Mabe of Morristown, TN, and many other loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Mr. Alston was predeceased by two sisters, Loretta Mabe and Pearl Elms; and one brother, Larry Alston.
