J.D. Seabolt, Sr., age 70 of Springfield, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at Centennial Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, February 29, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Milldale Chapel with Bro. Terry McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Franklin, KY with Randy Seabolt, Ricky Seabolt, Stacey Crockett, Neil Crockett, Byron Hodges, Tim Wix, Jeff Wix, and Brandon Clinard serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are David Spivey, Frank Spivey, Mike Spivey, Dale Spivey, and Jesse Spivey. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1 until 5 PM and Monday from 9 AM until the hour of service.
Mr. Seabolt was born August 4, 1945 in White County to the late Marvin and Vinnie Howell Seabolt. He was a longtime member of Orlinda Church of Christ and was a licensed electrician and plumber. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, J.D. Seabolt, Jr. and brothers, Bob and Harold Dean Seabolt.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Joyce Seabolt of Springfield; daughter, Jessica Seabolt of Portland; brothers, Ralph Seabolt of Cross Plains, Jimmy Seabolt of Gallatin, and Ronnie Seabolt of Cross Plains; sisters, Darlene Clinard of Cross Plains and Jean Donaldson of Sparta; and grandchildren, Blake Seabolt and Landon Woodruff.
