FRANK BIEBL, 81, DIES SUDDENLY AT FARM HOME

Frank Biebl, 81, who for many years resided with a brother and a sister , John and Lena Biebl, on the banks of the Minnesota river, in the eastern part of the city died some time Saturday afternoon.

Mr. Biebl had been in failing health for several years, and had been cared for by his brother and sister. He was not bedfast all the time, but spent much of his time recently in bed. He had eaten dinner Saturday, and later in the afternoon, when he was called for supper, it was found that he had passed away.

Coroner G. F. Reineke was called.

Mr. Biebl was an uncle of Wanda Gag, internationally famous artist, who was born in New Ulm.

H was born in Germany, October 30, 1864, and came to this country when a youth. The family has made its home on the Minnesota river for many years. He followed the trade of carpenter and cabinet-maker, and was known as a painstaking and conscientious worker.

Many homes in New Ulm contain pieces of furniture which he made, rehabilitated, repaired or refinished.

Funeral arrangements have not been completed, but will be announced in the Daily Journal.

The Biebl Family Plot #330 appears to have only the Family stone which simply has "BIEBL FAMILY". There are no names or dates. There are no visible flat stones in the area for the individuals.
