Frances Elaine Atkinson, 96, passed away quietly, surrounded by her family on February 22, 2016 at the Ogden Regional Medical Center to continue her journey with the love of her life, Gordon Atkinson who past before her 16 years ago.

Frances was born on January 27, 1920 in Lincoln, Idaho.

Frances graduated from high school when she was only 16 years old. She was promoted in jobs throughout her life because of how smart she was; even to the end she was still very sharp.

Frances worked for the Federal Government for 38 years. She was a member of the LDS Church and was very strong in her faith. She was an active member of the Burch Creek LDS 5th Ward.

Frances had an amazingly long life filled with love. Her generous nature was known to all, especially her family with whom she shared all she had, from her love to her wisdom.

Frances is survived by her 3 sons; eight grandkids; 15 great-grandkids and four great-great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Ethel; two sisters, Ranae and Lois and a brother, Devon.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 11:00 am at Leavitt’s Mortuary, 836 36th Street, Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Leavitt’s Mortuary and prior to services on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 am.
Interment at Franklin City Cemetery, Franklin, Idaho.
