MRS. LIBBIE BOWDISH, CENTRAL BRIDGE — Mrs. Libbie H. Bowdish, wife of David Bowdish, died at her home Sunday following a short illness. Mrs. Bowdish, who was a former resident of Sloansville, moved here last fall. She was the daughter of Peter Miner and Harriet Hutton Miner, and was born Dec. 22, 1877. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. J. Warren Van Pelt of this village, and Mrs. Orville Hallenbeck of East Cobleskill; two sons, Olin Bowdish of this village and Kenneth of Cobleskill; one brother, Walter Miner, of Stratford; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Methodist church in Esperance. Funeral services will be held at the Pangburn Funeral home Thursday at 2 p.m. Rev. Clyde Sumner of Esperance will officiate and interment will be at Sloansville. SCHENECTADY GAZETTE, THURSDAY, APRIL 11, 1946.

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Miner Bowdish of Central Bridge, who died Sunday after a brief Illness will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Pangburn funeral home, Central Bridge. Rev. Clyde Sumner and Rev. Walter Whitney will conduct the services. The funeral home will be open tonight. Burial will be in Valley cemetery, Sloansville. Mrs. Bowdish was born in the Town of Cobleskill and had resided in Central Bridge about six months. Besides her husband, David Bowdish, she leaves two sons and three daughters. Their daughter: Sloansville Resident Married in Wilksboro - SLOANSVILLE, July 26 (Special). — Miss Augusta Bowdish. eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Bowdish of Sloansville was married Wednesday, July 17 at the Methodist, parsonage at Willsboro, N..Y., by her former pastor. Rev. William H. Marshall to Edgar Filkins of East Berne. Following the ceremony they started for Quebec and other northern places. Mrs. Filkin's is a graduate of Hartwick Seminary and of the teachers training class of Cobleskill, and has been a teacher, here for several, years. Mrs. Filkins was also primary teacher of the Methodist Sunday School here.
