W.J. Lane of Covington, passed away February 28, 2016 at the age of 85. He owned and operated Lane Body Shop and Marine services for almost 60 years. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Jean McCart Lane, his second wife, Janet Smith Lane; grandson, Larry Stephen Vaughn; and his parents, Aaron Btyant and Mary (Nail) Lane.
Funeral services will be held at High Point Baptist Church, 12025 Highway 36, Covington, GA, Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 11:00 AM, with Dr. David Marshall officiating. interment will follow at High Point Baptist Cemetery.
