Township resident Doris Cifelli, 93, died July 12 at home.
Born in Newark, she graduated from West Orange High School and worked for Bakelite, where she was introduced to her husband Thomas.
The couple lived in Glen Rock for 20 years before moving to Short Hills in 1963.
Mrs. Cifelli volunteered with New Eyes for the Needy, Girl Scouts of America, Project Hope and the Women's Club of Ridgewood.
She was an accomplished cook, painter and musician.
Mrs. Cifelli is survived by two daughters, Barbara Boyce and Joanne Brady; a son, Thomas; and four grandchildren.
