CLARK H. CONDON
EAST LONGMEADOW, Mass. - Clark H. Condon, 74, of East Longmeadow, a native of Shaftsbury, Vt., died Tuesday afternoon at a local nursing home.
A son of James and Hannah (Bartlet) Condon, he was born March 31, 1890 and had received his education in Shaftsbury and Bennington schools. He had learned the carpenters trade at an early age and was also a skilled mechanic.
Mr. Condon joined the Methodist Church at the age of 15. For the last 7 years he had lived in East Longmeadow, where he was a member of East Longmeadow Grange No. 152.
He is survived by his wife, Sara (Kibbe) Condon, his mother, Mrs. Hannah Baldwin of Greenwich, N.Y.; a son, Clark W. Condon of Arlington, Vt., and a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Coon of Valley Falls, N.Y., both by a former marriage; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Arthur Anderson of East Longmeadow; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at the Methodist Church in Shaftsbury at 2 pm Friday. The Rev. Alfred Scott will officiate. Viewing time at the church will be one hour before the service. Burial will be in Shaftsbury Village Cemetery.
