Charleen was born to Guy and Ida Collins Morrow. She graduated for Buffalo High School and was formerly employed with Barnes Pumps in Mansfield and was a bookkeeper with Snelby Parts Co. A Kappa Tau sorority member; she served with the Shelby Hospital Guild in the 1960's.
Surviving are her one son and daughter-in-law Edward and Rosemary Herring of Shelby; three grandsons; five great grandchildren; special friends Louie and Carolyn King of Crestline; her extended family Donna Patton, Michelle Gee, Betty Sherman and Sue Strouse; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Jack R. Herring in 2000; three brothers Vaughn, James and Ross Morrow; one sister Madilyn Whitsell and caregiver Phyllis Newsome.
