Miss Viva Lee Abel, 46, of 584 Third Street, died at 8 pm Monday after a three years' illness. She was born Jan. 15, 1899, daughter of George and Lueldah Simpson Abel.
She was a life long member of Rocky Grove and Franklin, and a member of Seventh Street Church of God and its Co-Ed Bible Class.
Surviving besides her mother are a brother, Russell, of Franklin, and the following sisters: Mrs. Dana Haslett, Mrs. Howard W. DeVore, Mrs. Frank L. Phillips, Mrs. C. B. Haslett, Mrs. C. J. Barnicle, of Franklin, Mrs. William Beith, Indianapolis.
Services will be at Buchanan Funeral Home at 2:30 pm Thursday with Rev. E. E. Starr officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.
