Funeral for Amelia Eliza Muirhead, who died April 10 in Chilliwack General hospital was held Monday in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home. Rev J.T. Horricks officiated, burial followed at Old Fellows Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Richard Osborne, Ronald and David Quinlan, David and Peter Jones, and Raymond Summerville.
Mrs. Muirhead was born Feb. 7 1888 in Crookston, Minnesota and lived in the Chilliwack area for 70 years.
She had been a member of Ruth Rebekka Lodge #4 and, before it close, Cheam United Church.
Mrs. Muirhead is survived by two sons, Wilfred and Benjamin Osborne, respectively of Armstrong and Invermere; one daughter, Mrs. Annie Quinlan of Chilliwack; two sisters, Mrs. Mable Hastings of New Westminster and Mrs. Eva Stapleton of Chilliwack; two brothers, Henry and Michael Jones of Chilliwack and Savona, respectively ; one stepson Glen Miurhead of Surrey, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
