Obituary for James K Hagan
(Jim, Ace) 84, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Park Louisville.

He was born July 3, 1931 in Louisville, a son of the late Richard K. Hagan and Frances C. Zimmerman Hagan. Jim was the former owner of Hagan Tire Center and was a Navy and an Army Veteran having served after the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Bishop Spalding Council, & the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. Jim was a Kentucky Colonel.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Jean Kopp Hagan and his sisters Flo Devitt and Katie Fields.

Jim is survived by his two daughters, Pat Vetter (Mike) and Lisa Rifkind (Steve); brother, William Hagan (Winnie); 6 grandchildren, Jessica Webb (Jim), Brad Vetter (Adrienne), Alisha (Jason Kaelin), Patrick, Jamie and Ruthie Rifkind and 4 great-grandchildren, Austin and Keeleigh Webb, Jaelin and Jakobe Rifkind. He is also survived by several sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

His funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1406 E. Washington Street followed by entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum.
