Mrs. G. McClure Passes at Coast

Mrs. Ada McClure passed away in Vancouver, B.C., on Dec. 25th, 1959, at the age of 66 years. She was born in King Township, York County, in 1893 and lived in Red Deer from 1899 to 1918. She married George McClure in 1914 and lived at Ohaton from 1919 to 1942, then moved to Vancouver, residing there from 1942 to 1959. After ten years of indifferent health, she passed away suddenly on Christmas Day. Mrs. McClure was an active member of the Ohaton Women's Institute for many years, also of Ohaton United Church Ladies' Aid. Left to mourn her loss are; her loving husband, two sons, Herbert of Edmonton, and Orville of Ohaton; two daughters, Edna (Mrs. J. Cowden) of Vancouver, and Olive (Mrs. W. Sabinicz) of Brittania Beach, B.C.; six grandchildren; one brother, Roy Archibald of Red Deer; a half-brother, Ernest Archibald of Tofino, B.C.; and two sisters, Mrs. Gertie Greko of Edmonton, and Mrs. Myrtle Gherke of Red Deer.
