Funeral services for Martha Betts will be conducted on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 2pm in the chapel of Karnes & Son Funeral Home in Dyer. Interment will follow in Rutherford Cemetery, in Rutherford.
She was born September 24, 1932 in Dyer, TN.; the daughter of Myrtle Hays. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by five children, Wanda Pierce, Fred Crowe, Sr., Shirley Jean Scarbrough, Priscilla Fouts, and Bobby Downs; fourteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, J. C. Betts.
