HORICON - Clarence J. Braun Sr., 79, Minnesota Junction, died Thrusday at Hillside Hospital In Beaver Dam.
Fuenral services will be held Satruday at 2 p.m. at the Zum Kripplein Christi Lutheran Church, Iron Ridge, with the Rev. D. F. kannenberg officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends and relatives may call to pay their respects at teh Welch Fuenral Home today from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the chruch Satruday from noon until the time of the service.
Braun was born Dec. 10, 1902 in Horicon, son of John and Mary Braun. He married the former Martha Parpart Feb. 26, 1927 in JUenau.
Braun was a painter in the area for many years. Later he was employed by Stokley Van Camp's for 10 years, retiring in 1963.
Survivors include his wife, nine sons, Clarence Jr (Betty) of Burnett, Charles (Shirley) and John (Carolyn) both of Osceola, Dwayne (Carol) of Beaver Dam, Darryl (Lou Ann) of Iron Ridge, Norman (Jean) of Horicon, Vaughn (Judy) of Juneau, Daniel (Janet) of Horicon, and Thomas (Marilyn) of Mayville, six daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Janice) Helmer, Mrs. Leo (Dawn) Wehner, and MRs. James (Lila) Bahls, all of Beaver Dam, Ms. Ronald (Donna) Jensen of Mayville, Pamela of Minnesota Junction, and Mrs. Jack (Charlene) Selfing of Harford, 46 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Linda Parpart of Waupun, and one brother, Richard of Beaver Dam.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia and one sister, Irma.
