Bernice M. Baker, 87, of Tilton, passed away on March 2, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign.
She was born June 8, 1928 in Griffith, Indiana, the daughter of Harry and Meda Hughes. She married Joe E. Baker on Nov. 26, 1945. He passed away Oct. 28, 1998.
Bernice will be deeply missed by her daughter, Kathie Borst; daughter-in-law, Peggy Baker; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Alexander Baker; one sister, Margaret Green; two brothers, Harold and Virgil Hughes; grandson, Steve Borst and son-in-law, Randall Borst.
