A. Irene Lincoln, age 79, of Auburn passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 with her family by her side at her Auburn home.

Mrs. Lincoln was born on October 27, 1936 in Ripley, Indiana.

She married Levon L. Lincoln on September 16, 1954 and he preceded her in death on March 29, 1982.

Mrs. Lincoln worked at DeKalb Memorial Hospital as a housekeeper and patient escort from 1989 until 2003.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Auburn.

Survivors include: 5 Daughters, Patricia (William) Wible of Auburn, Janet (Steve) Garman of Angola, Laura (Don) Buck of Florida, Cheryl Kendregan of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Rebecca (Robert) Hoehn of Bridgman, Michigan; 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Della, Caroline, and Marie; 2 brothers, Andrew (Ann) Korenchen, Clayton (Lana) Harrell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Karen Roy, and 2 sisters, Florance and Betty.

Funeral services will be 11 am, Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Auburn First United Methodist Church, 1203 East 7th Street in Auburn.

Burial will take place in Royal Center Cemetery in Royal Center, IN at 3 PM Monday.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 from 2 to 6 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn and also 1 hour prior to the service Monday at the church from 10 to 11.

Memorials may be directed to St. Martin’s Health Care Center and Riley Hospital for Children at Indiana University Health.
