Nelsene E. Bolyard, 76, of Vandalia died at 9:13 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, 1992, at Fayette County Hospital, Vandalia.
Services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hohlt & file Funeral Home, Vandalia, with the Rev. Lowell Fogler officiating. Burial was in the Griffith Cemetery, Brownstown.
Mrs. Bolyard was born May 28, 1916, in Herrick, daughter of William F. and Lola Clark Beck. She was affiliated with the Vandalia Church of Christ. She married Aaron W. Bolyard on Dec. 1, 1934, in Vandalia. He died Oct. 29, 1968.
Surviving are her daughters, Alta Washburn of Vandalia, Mrs. Elmer (Charlotte) Bruso of Springfield and Mrs. Harold (Sandra) Bruso of Decatur; sons, Dale (Helen) Bolyard of Brownstown and Grayland (Connie)Bolyard of Bluff City; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
One brother, three sisters and one grandchild preceded her in death.
