CALLEN, Clifford Leroy age 82 of Hamilton died Friday November 30, 2007 in the Vitas Hospice Unit @ Fort Hamilton Hospital. Clifford was the son of Manie and Stella (Frazier) Callen. He was born on April 29, 1925 in Moores Hill, Indiana. He attended Moores Hill public school, graduating in 1943. Shortly after graduation from public school, Clifford joined the Merchant Marine. Later in life he graduated with a B.S. Degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He married Barbara Ann Walker of Rising Sun, Indiana on November 22, 1952 in College Corner, Ohio. An employee of G.M. Fisher Body in Hamilton, Ohio in the Metal Assembly Department, he retired in 1982 after 33 years of service. Clifford is survived by his wife, Barbara; one son, Barry W. Callen (Mary Patrice), of Madison, Wisconsin; one daughter, Linda J. Stanger (Robert) of Hamilton; four grandchildren, Robert B. (Bo) Stanger, Luke Benjamin (Benji) of Hamilton and Alexie N. Callen, Paige E. Callen of Madison, Wisconsin; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Linda Walker of Rising Sun, Indiana; three nephews, Dennis Callen, Steven Callen and Benjamin J. Walker; four nieces, Stephanie Scott, Teri Anne Lammers, Angela Edwards, Betty Jean Fitterer, and several cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Michael Callen, two brothers, Robert and Henry, and two sisters, Hazel and Jennie. Visitation at the Lindenwald United Methodist Church (where Clifford was a member since 1994 ) on Tuesday December 4, 2007 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 Noon with Rev. Roy Wigal and Pastor Val Waibel officiating. Burial to follow in Millville Cemetery. If desired, sympathy may be expressed by memorial contribution to Lindenwald United Methodist Church 3501 Pleasant Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45015, or to the Vitas Hospice Unit @ Fort Hamilton Hospital.
