Brad J. Counard Sr., age 36, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Friday evening, March 4, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Green Bay.
Brad was born on February 21, 1980 in Two Rivers. He was the son of Rosemary Kaczrowski Counard and the late Keith H. Counard Sr. Brad attended Lincoln High School and continued his education at Lakeshore Technical College. He had been employed as an auto technician at First Chrysler in Manitowoc. Brad enjoyed doing mechanical work on cars.
He is survived by his son: Brad Counard Jr., at home; his mother: Rosie Counard, Manitowoc; one brother: Keith Counard Jr. and special friend Brenda, Denmark; aunts, uncles, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Keith Councard Sr. in 1998.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Grand on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Following the funeral services there will be a luncheon held for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
