DECATUR - Clarissa Ann "Sissy" Floyd, 53, of Decatur, died 5:55 P.M., Monday, September 25, 2006, at her residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 29, 2006, at Brintlinger & Earl Funeral Home, Decatur, with visitation 5 to 7 P.M., Thursday, September 28, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Memorials may be made to Macon County Humane Society.
Clarissa was born June 18, 1953, in Decatur, the daughter of Patrick and Barbara (Stone) McCauley. She married Bill Floyd on February 9, 1973 in Decatur, IL.
Clarissa was a member of West Side Church of the Nazarene, Decatur. She worked at Walmart for 4 & 1/2 years and was a CNA at Aspen Ridge for 4 years. She enjoyed working puzzles, watching "Passions" on t.v., and loved animals.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Bill of Decatur; daughter Susan (Robert) Hartwell of Decatur; sons Eric Floyd of Paris, IL, Paul Floyd and Billy Floyd, both of Decatur; sisters Sharon (Kevin) Reynolds of Decatur, Cynthia (Leroy) Jackson of Las Vegas, NV; brothers Brian (Gail) Marsh of Decatur, Patrick McCauley of Decatur; grandmother Mary Howard of Decatur; 5 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.
