Of Greenwood, was born, July 11, 1931, in Pleasant Hill, the daughter of Warren and Minnie (Feeback) Babylon. She departed this life, Sunday, March 6, 2016, at the Research Medical Center surrounded with love and family.
Peggy was a 1948, Pleasant Hill High School graduate.
On July 10, 1948, she was united in marriage to Virgil H. Bond on the Lake of the Ozarks. He preceded her in death on August 5, 1999.
Peggy was a homemaker. She was a caring and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. While her children were young she was actively involved in their lives and the Lee's Summit community. She enjoyed crafting and spending time with her family.
Peggy was also preceded in death by her parents; one son David Bond; three brothers, Rex Babylon, Bill Babylon, and Lehman Babylon; three sister, Maxine Haller, Claudine Larimer, and Marjorie Hallack. She is survived by four sons, Larry Bond of Elkins, Arkansas, Ward (and Beverly) Bond of Wheatland, Missouri, Richard (and Rene) Bond of Lee's Summit, and Dan (and Katherine) Bond of Bellevue, Nebraska; one daughter-in-law, Janice Bond of Clinton, Missouri; 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
