COOPER, DEWEY FATE, JR. -- age 63, of Knoxville, died Thursday, August 31, 1995, in Nashville. He was of the Baptist faith, Veteran of Korean War, received Bronze Star. Survivors: wife, Peggy Cooper; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Brian Patterson, Knoxville; Debbie and Bill Morris, Nashville; son and daughter-in-law, Dewey III and Thea Cooper, Knoxville; five grandchildren; several step-brothers and step-sisters. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for a 10 a.m. graveside service and interment. Full military honors will be presented by East Tennessee Veteran Honor Guard. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday at Stevens Mortuary, Oglewood Avenue at Broadway.
