Virginia "Dot" Norris, age 79, of Columbus, Saturday, Grant/Riverside Hospice. Born June 6, 1920, Shawnee, Oh. Retired Motorist Mutual Insurance. Member Eastview United Methodist Church. Survived by husband of 58 years, Earl; daughter, Karen Hammond of Pickerington; son, Stephen (Patricia) Norris of Tallahassee, Fla.; grandchildren, Brian Hammond, Kristen Hammond, both of Pickerington, Jay Norris of Moultria, Ga.; great-grandson, Austin Hammond; nieces and nephews; also survived by Dot's extended family at Wesley Ridge. Preceded in death by parents Ralph "Dick" and Mabel Russell Peyton, brothers Clifford and Ralph "Dick", sisters Eleanor Taylor and Lee Cady.
