Mr. Barclay was born May 21, 1920, in Portland. During World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps. He was a machine operator for R. Hoe & Co. for more than 20 years. In 1945, he married Audrey Ardesson.
Survivors include his wife; sons, William M. and Robert R.; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Oregonian, September 19, 2002
