Ollie Bean, 75, of Trout Creek community in Newton County died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006 at Memorial Medical Center in Lufkin. Funeral services was at Trout Creek Baptist Church with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery. Born August 26, 1931 to Clara (Sheppard) and Sol Bean, he had lived all his life in Trout Creek area and was a retired logger. Survivors include brothers, Robert Bean and wife Laverne of Deweyille, and Jack Bean and wife Inez of Trout Creek; sisters, Clara Fay Mitchell of Trout Creek and Sarah Hutson and husband Virgil of Jacksonville, FL.; and his friend Virginia.
