Larry "Monk" J. Knox, 68, of Morgan's Point Resort, passed away on March 4, 2016. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m., Thursday, before the service at the Dossman Funeral Home in Belton. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Temple with Rev. Jeremy Franks officiating.
Larry Joe was born in Dallas, Texas, and as a newborn, was adopted by the late Cecil L. Knox and Vivian (Stracener) Knox. He was an auto mechanic and worked at Connell Chevrolet before working for himself in Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Flo Knox, of Morgan's Point Resort; brothers, Steve Knox and Mark Knox, both of Canton; and other family members, Shauna Farmer and BJ Scheible, of Morgans Point Resort, and Caitlyn Knox-Yeager, Calyb Farmer, Coltyn Farmer, and Raylynne Scheible. L5
