She is survived by her five children; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Jane attended St. Brigid High School, and obtained a B.A. from Lone Mountain College in 1938 and a teaching certificate from U.C. Berkeley. She taught English at Sunnyvale High School for two years and married Bob the next year. When her children were young she taught CCD at St. Agnes Grammar School and helped with Boy Scouts. Jane was proudly Irish and baked soda bread for the family on St. Patrick's Day.
She loved attending concerts at the San Francisco Symphony and always listened to classical music. She enjoyed the seminars at the Fromm Institute. She was active in United For Life and received an award recently for her many years of dedicated service on behalf of United For Life. She liked to garden, but after her children were grown, her passion was oil painting in the Impressionist style of California landscapes. San Francisco galleries offered her paintings, and she sold ten of her paintings to the King of Saudi Arabia, as noted by columnist Herb Caen.
Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
