Mrs Sarah E Mead
Mrs. Sarah E. Mead, wife of Chauncey Mead, died at her home in North Waverly Tuesday afternoon, March 5 1901 about 4:00 o'clock after an illness of a week with pneumonia and heart trouble. She was in her forty-sixth year and had been a resident of this place for several years. She was a daughter of the late Amasa Drake and was born in Chemung. The funeral services were held this Friday, afternoon at two o'clock, with Rev. J.W. Nicholson officiating. The internment was at East Waverly. Beside her husband she leaves five daughters, Emma, Jessie, Ella, Birdie and Bertha, all of whom live at home.
