Word has been received by relatives in McSherrystown of the death of Mother Mary Antoinette, of the Order of the Sisters of Saint Joseph Chestnut Hill Convent, Philadelphia. She died Tuesday night at the convent. The deceased was a daughter of Joseph and Catharine Klunk, and was born at the old Klunk residence at the edge of McSherrystown on June 20, 1849. She entered the Convent in April, 1872.

Mother Mary Antoinette had served for six years as mother at Edge Grove and had spent the last five years of her life at Chestnut Hill.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. A.W. Eckenrode, Emmitsburg, and two brothers, Joseph F. and John G. Klunk, McSherrytown. A number of nieces and nephews reside in this vicinity.

The funeral will be held in the Convent Chapel at Chestnut Hill. Interment will be in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
