Elise was the daughter of Mathias & Elizabeth "Elsie" (Bemberg) Schramm and full sister to Mathieu & August Schramm. She married Louis Graber 7 Mar 1874 in San Francisco, CA. They were the parents of Marie A. E., Mathias Louis, Emma Augusta, and an infant daughter who died shortly after birth the same day as her mother. Only Emma lived to adulthood. Elise, Louis and their babies were originally buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in San Francisco. Their remains were moved to Colma after the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake. Her daughter Emma, parents and brothers are buried at Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland, CA. Family story is Elise was in a buggy accident. An infant daughter died the day before Elise. The buggy accident could have brought on an early labor which resulted in Elise's and the infant's death.
