She was born in Sewellsville, Ohio on February 26, 1916 to the late Oscar and Myrtle (Dunbar) Bumgarner. She was a homemaker and an avid quilter and for more than 20 years made quilts for the American Red Cross in Eastern Ohio to help raise funds for those in need. More recently she made baby quilts for the WIC Program in Delaware. She had resided at Willowbrook Christian Village for 4 1/2 years. Former member of the United Methodist Church in Flushing and more recently attended the Church of Christ in Delaware.
She is survived by Daughters and Son-in-law: Helen Reppart of Delaware and Ruth and Robert Huffman of Winchester. 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Brother: Jesse Bumgarner of Ashtabula.
Preceded in death by her Husband Raymond in December 1996.
