Mrs. Stuart was born in Rose Hill, N.C. She was the widow of Everett H. Stuart and was a member of Bayside Christian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Fortier of Williston, Vt.; two sons, Richard L. Stuart and William K. Stuart, both of Virginia Beach; one sister, Margaret Batchelor of Rose Hill, N.C.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Vivian Brock of Rose Hill and Elizabeth Stuart Nash of Richmond, Maine; and one daughter-in-law, Nancy O. Stuart of Virginia Beach.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel, by the Rev. Raymond B. Good. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
