DOROTHY ANN (EVERS) CUNNINGHAM passed away on November 12, 2012 at her home in Midland, Texas. Dorothy was born in El Paso, Texas on October 9, 1927.

She is survived by her husband Eldon Erle Cunningham; sons Dale James Cunningham and Duane Fred Cunningham and wife Jeana; grandchildren Drew Michael Cunningham and Travis Clark Cunningham; sister Betty Jane Evers.

Dorothy grew up in Dallas, Texas where she graduated from Sunset High School, participating in tennis and a cowgirl band. She met her future husband there in 1948 and they were married in 1950. The couple moved around Texas and ended up spending many years in Hobbs, New Mexico before moving to Midland in 1973. Upon retirement, she and Eldon moved to Lago Vista, Texas, spending 10 years there before returning to Midland, Texas. She enjoyed playing bridge and golf in retirement.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 2 to 4 pm at Ellis Funeral Home in Midland. Internment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
