Julia A. Gimlin

Mrs. Julia Ann "Judy" Gimlin, 68, resident of Bartlesville, died at 9:06 AM on Sunday in the Emergency Room of St. Francis Hospital at Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday in the Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Joe Dan Fowler of the First Baptist Church officiating. Graveside services and interment will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.

Judy was born November 8, 1937 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Ralph and Helen (Swain) Gage. She was raised and received her early education in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and graduated from Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1955. Judy moved back to Bartlesville after graduation. She was married to Jon F. Gimlin at the First Baptist Church in Bartlesville in 1957. They moved to Borger, Texas living there from 1957 to 1968 before moving back to Bartlesville. Judy was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company for twenty-years retiring in 1992. Mr. and Mrs. Gimlin were charter members of Eastern Heights Baptist Church where Judy was very active including singing in the choir. Mr. and Mrs. Gimlin are both members of the First Baptist Church in Bartlesville.

Survivors include her husband Jon Gimlin of the home; one daughter Jonna Hoffman and her husband Alvin of Bartlesville; one son Kyle Gimlin of Norman, Oklahoma; two brothers Jerry Rickman of Avant, Oklahoma and Jimmy Rickman of Kingman, Arizona; three grandchildren Chance Gimlin, Kayla Hoffman and Brittney Gimlin. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Kerry Gimlin and Kevin Gimlin; one brother Buddy Gage and two sisters Wilma Rotramel and Carol Pointer.
