Great Falls —Beloved husband, father, and grandfather Timothy Michael Mack passed into the next life on February 28, 2016 at Benefis Hospital due to complications from chronic health problems. A Memorial Service in his honor will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Rose Room Chapel of Croxford Funeral Home with Bishop Omar Steyee presiding. Interment of his ashes will take place at a later date.

Timothy was born to Donald Mack and Winifred Wiegmink Mack on March 25, 1952 in Grand Rapids, MI. He grew up on the lakes of Michigan with his parents and sister Brenda, where he developed a love for swimming, boating, snorkeling, scuba diving, and even surfing. He attended Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids, after which he served on an LDS Mission in Argentina from 1971 to 1973. Timothy later married his high school sweetheart Valerie Lynn Streeter on September 7, 1974 in the Provo, UT, LDS Temple. Afterward, he went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Communications from Grandville State University in 1976.

He spent a portion of his working years as a manager for the communications departments of several hospitals in both Michigan and Montana. Though he was raised on the lakes, the mountains called to him, and he became an avid hiker and outdoorsman. He fully embraced the West and enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and helping his rancher friends with branding.

Tim was a man of varied skills which was reflected in his professional life. For many years he was the owner and photographer of Images Studio in Cascade and Great Falls, he illustrated a book of medical artwork, he oversaw a portion of the state of Montana for the Census of 2000 and 2010, and he loved seeing the country as he drove long-haul trucking. In addition to these professional endeavors, he was an author, songwriter, musician, and a handyman who remodeled one home for his family and built two others. In his later years, he helped the disabled through AWARE. Even after he himself was legally disabled, he still volunteered in the local elementary school.

Timothy leaves behind his devoted wife Valerie of Vaughn, MT; his children, Rebecca Mack of Vaughn, MT, Adam Mack of Topeka, KS, Annette Moss of Cowley, WY, and Hillary Stirling of Pleasant Grove, UT; his sister, Brenda Mack-Pickett of Kalamazoo, MI, and his 12 loving grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Sarah and by both of his loving parents.
