Dorothy Margaret Bethune Stinson, 81, of Tifton died July 29, 2001 at Tift Regional Hospital.
Funeral services were held at Chapel Bowen-Donaldson. Burial followed at Tift Memorial Gardens.
Born April 22, 1920, in Cochran, Stinson was the daughter of Meredith Bethune and Lerna Cranford Bethune, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Jackson Stinson.
She was a homemaker and a member of New River Baptist Church.
Stinson is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Jan Stinson, Larry and Gail Stinson and Jerry and Sandra Stinson, two sisters, Montene Davis of Cochran and Evelyn Hall of Eastman; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
Bowen Donaldson Home for Funerals was in charge of arrangements.
