Hazel Bogie Fain, 76, Cornishville Street, formerly of Anderson County, widow of Raymond H. Fain, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at St. Joseph Hospital East in Lexington. Born March 27, 1928 in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late Lizzie Dale Baker and Polie Pruitt. She was a former employee of Rand McNally in Versailles.

Survivors include: five daughters, Sheila Newman of WV, Frances Fain of Harrodsburg, Thelma Blevins of Nicholasville, Donna (Jeff) Hopper of Lawrenceburg, and Christine Stanford of Lexington; two sons, Ronald W. Fain of Lawrenceburg and Robert (Dianne) Bogie of Lexington; four sisters, JoAnn Crews of IN, Dorothy Sturgeon of Lexington, Lucille (Kenny) DeWitt and Rosie (John) Wallin, both of Stanford; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Grovie Gene Fain, and two brothers, Jack and Gene Ray.

No services are scheduled. Mrs. Fain will be cremated. Arrangements were handled by the Ritchie and Peach Funeral Home in Lawrenceburg.
