Fanny was born in Kentucky the daughter of William Smith Conley and Rebecca Caudill. She was also the sister of William Wallace Conley. On March 10, 1887 in Magoffin County, Kentucky she married Samuel Bracken Borders. Their children are; Patrick Borders, Pattie Borders, Patton Borders, Paris Borders, Ella (Borders) Conley and Dixon Borders.
