May Hampton, 86 years of age, passed away Tuesday March 15, 2016 in Aurora, Ohio. Born on May 17, 1929 in Cleveland, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Steven and Irma (May) Hampton.

A longtime Aurora resident, she had been employed in manufacturing in Solon, Newbury and Chardon. May enjoyed going to flea markets and antiquing, yet most importantly she will be remembered as a care giver for her parents until their passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Robert and Earl Hampton and sisters Bernice Fable, Irene Wyre, Lillian Stutzman and her twin sister June Childs. Survivors include her nephew Dennis (Pat) Stutzman of Rootstown; nieces Ruth Onion of Ashtabula, Maryann Osborne of Mentor and Becky O’Connor of Irving, Texas, and many other family members.

Funeral services will be held Saturday March 19, 2016, 11:00 A.M. in The Chapel of Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service, Mantua, Ohio where visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Officiating will be Pastor Jody Hill. Final resting place will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Mantua Village, Ohio.
