Evelyn A Olinger, 89, of Danville, formerly of Springfield, died at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Danville Care Center in Danville.
She was born Sept. 2, 1900, in Springfield, the daughter of Herman F. and Catherine Speas Burkhardt.
Mrs. Olinger formerly worked for Illinois Watch Company.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Clifford E., in 1973; one daughter, Norma Creighton, in 1986; three sisters, Edna Koch, Catherine Brawner and Lorena Egonut; two brothers, Raymond and Leslie.
A resident of Springfield most of her life, Mrs. Olinger was a member of Third Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Dilks of Virden and Mrs. Helena Ibison of Springfield; one niece and several cousins.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Staab Funeral Home, with Dr. Robert Langworthy officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
