Martha Louise (Crone) Eppley, 80, of Camp Hill, passed away Friday, Aug. 2, 2002, in Bethany Village Retirement Center in Mechanicsburg.
She was the widow of Robert E. Eppley.
Mrs. Eppley retired in June 1988 after teaching Latin and English for 35 years in the Camp Hill High School.
She previously taught English for three years in the former New Cumberland High School.
She was active in the Cumberland County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees and was a docent for 12 years at the state Governor's Mansion in Harrisburg.
Mrs. Eppley was a loyal member and supporter of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church in Mechanicsburg, where she was a Sunday school teacher of an adult class for many years.
Surviving are one daughter, Roberta Biesecker and her husband, Gary, of New Cumberland; two grandchildren, Alicia and Steven; a sister-in-law, Janet Bucher and her husband, the Rev. Norman Bucher of Palmyra; and two nephews, Alan Bucher of Manheim and Mark Bucher of Palmyra.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Trindle Spring Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg.
A viewing will take place from 7-9 p.m. Monday in Neill Funeral Home in Camp Hill and from 9-10 a.m. in the church prior to the service Tuesday.
Interment will follow in Letort Cemetery, Carlisle.
