Katherine Louise Anderson passed away in Centralia on April 26, 2004. Katherine was born in Littell, WA on October 4, 1934 to Jack and Ingeborg (Lund) Anderson. Katherine graduated from Adna High School, Centralia College, and Eastern Washington State University with a degree in education. She spent her entire teaching career at Adna Elementary School and retired in 1999. Katherine enjoyed the outdoors, sports, and especially sharing with students in their outside school activities. Katherine was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chehalis where she worked with Sunday School, youth groups, and women's mission work.
Brothers Albert of Adna, John of Lacey, Fritz and his wife Dorrit of Chehalis survive Katherine along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in her honor at the First Baptist Church in Chehalis, on May 26, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to Adna Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 148, Adna, WA 98522 or First Baptist Church, P.O Box 896, Chehalis, WA 98532.
