"Elder Benjamin F. Yates of Dallas died Thursday, Sept. 19, 1996.
Services were held Monday, Aug. 23, at the New Generation of Holiness C.O.G.I.C. with burial in Lincoln Memorial Park.
Mr. Yates was born Feb. 15, 1924, a son of Horace and Annie Yates. He had been pastor of the Power House C.O.G.I.C. in Roxton for twenty years.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn; children; one sister, Fairy Johnson of Dallas; and four brothers, Jeremiah Yates of Lubbock, Hubert Yates of Fort Worth, Horace Yates Jr. and Isaiah Yates, both of San Diego, Calif."
